Leatherhead’s nutrition manager to leave
Roberta Re has quit her role as nutrition research manager at Leatherhead Food Research to take over as director general of the World Sugar Research Organisation.
She will officially leave Leatherhead at the end of May after eight years with the Surrey-based institute.
Before joining Leatherhead, Re spent several years working as a business manager for a biotech company associated with the University of Cambridge.
Re is currently doing an MBA at the University of Sussex.
She has a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Palermo Italy and a PhD in biochemistry from King’s College London at the Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Diseases.
