Food storage federation appoints president
Food logistics firm ACS&T’s boss Malcolm Johnstone was appointed president of the Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF).
It is Mr Johnstone’s second term as president of the FSDF, which celebrated its centenary in 2011 and is the sole UK trade body that represents and supports the interests of the entire food and drink logistics industry.
He said it was an honour and a privilege to take on the role.
“Our role at the FSDF is to look after the needs of our membership and to engage in key lobbying for the benefit of our industry,” he said.
“The success of which can be noted by being the management body of the climate change agreement for the sector.”
