Italian food firm caters for consumer love of chorizo and pumpkin
UK-based Italian food manufacturer Ugo Foods has “reacted to a growing trend” and launched a pumpkin and Spanish chorizo ravioli as part of its Dell’Ugo range.
The new product will be stocked exclusively by Waitrose.
Chorizo has become a staple in the British diet and pumpkin has appeared increasingly on restaurant menus and in retail, the firm claimed.
The Chorizo sausage is fast becoming the meat of choice with sliced continental meats now being bought by over half of British household, according to Kantar World Panel.
