Prime Minister appoints new UK trade envoy
Prime Minister David Cameron appointed Tory MP George Freeman as a UK trade envoy.
As part of the unpaid role, Freeman, who is MP for mid-Norfolk and chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology in Agriculture, will support trade delegations to boost UK exports.
He said it was a great opportunity to “support and champion the world-class potential” of local businesses in the east of England.
