SOFHT appoints new technical director
The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) appointed Dr Karen Middleton-Gell as its new technical director, this month.
She will be responsible for new legislation forums and supporting SOFHT directors on technical advice.
Middleton-Gell will bring over 13 years’ experience to the role, gained most recently as processed food sector specialist at Diversey Sealed Air.
She said she was delighted to be able to share her industry knowledge and experience with the food industry.
