Waitrose boss becomes GroceryAid patron
GroceryAid appointed Waitrose md and John Lewis Partnership deputy chairman Mark Price as a life patron, this month.
Price will help to promote the charity for current and former grocery workers.
Price, who initially joined the John Lewis Partnership as a trainee graduate in 1982, said: “I am delighted to support the worthwhile activities of a charity whose values are very much in keeping with those we hold at Waitrose.”
Gillian Barker, director general of GroceryAid, said Price had been recognised for his unstinting support to GroceryAid.
