The return of the Pink Panther wafer
Pink Panther wafers are set to return to supermarket shelves with redesigned packaging and a new taste.
The biscuits will have a thicker layer of vanilla cream, but the rest of the wafer will remain largely unchanged, according to manufacturer Asvina.
The relaunch in June will come six months after previous owner Rivington Biscuits went into administration in December last year.
Asvina founder and director Prasheel Kunwardia said: “Asvina will build upon the Pink Panther heritage to drive sales across multiple food and drink categories.
“The Pink Panther is a beloved character and there are plenty of opportunities to create exciting new products, building more value in the brand for consumers and retailers alike.”
