Halal confectionery range expands
Confectionery manufacturer Bebeto is to expand its 100% Halal range, while growing the brand’s distribution.
Its UK sweets comprise 100 products across a wide range of flavours and sizes, including 50p price marked bags and £1 “big value bags”.
Bebeto UK commercial director Paul Simpson said: “Searching for halal sweets can be a time-consuming and frustrating process with shoppers having to thoroughly check ingredients on packs.
“With the Bebeto range being 100% halal accredited, it reassures and gives consumers the confidence that our sweets fit their requirements, while also providing them with a world renowned brand and great quality products.”
The Bebeto range will be supported with promotional activity and marketing campaigns around the Muslim religious festivals Ramadan and Eid, linking in with retailer activity.
