Adrian Dyter made md of Crisp Malting Group
Adrian Dyter (right) has taken over as md of Crisp Malting Group on July 12, leaving his role as global category manager of malt and barley at Carlsberg Group.
The appointment follows the retirement of previous md Euan Macpherson (left), whom Dyter had been shadowing.
“At a time when craft brewing and distilling are expanding so rapidly and when interest in ingredients is growing so fast, this is a fantastic company to be joining,” said Dyter.
“Quality and customer service are already at the top of Crisp’s agenda. There’s a lot of innovation going on and the team has some of the best technical expertise in the industry.
Crisp Malting Group produces 430,000t of malt a year, equivalent to 5% of the EU’s output, enough malt to make over 64bn pints of beer.
“It may be challenging to follow the momentum and growth of recent years, but with the excellent team I’ve inherited, it’s definitely possible. I’m determined to make it happen,” said Dyter.
