A new home for gin
Bombay Sapphire’s first master distiller Nik Fordham threw open the doors to the firm’s brand new gin distillery late last year.
The former paper factory in Whitchurch, Hampshire now has a capacity of 3.5M nine-litre cases a year.
The botanicals needed for the four stills produced at the facility are gown at the visitor centre on site.
Fordham has installed a lean culture within the site in a bid to make it Bombay Sapphire’s home for the next 100 years. Just 40 people operate the site which distils gin 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
