Brewdog adds inspiring to growing list of plaudits
A heavy global presence – despite only forming eight years ago – earned Scottish brewer Brewdog its place on the list, according to Scottish deputy first minister John Swinney.
The Aberdeenshire-based business was also recently crowned as one of the Sunday Times’ fastest growing companies.
A recent £1.5M grant from the Scottish government has helped the firm create 130 new jobs.
Started in 2008 by James Watt and Martin Dickie, the firm now has 14,568 shareholders; 358 employees and 26 venues.
