Booths appoints new boss
Northern retailer Booths appointed Chris Dee as ceo this month.
The appointment comes after 20 years with the business in which Dee held a number of management roles including wines and spirits buyer, trading director and chief operating officer.
The firm’s chairman Edwin Booth said he had “tremendous confidence” in Dee to grow and develop the business.
“He has the vision, and crucially, the ability to share that vision and inspire others to follow him,” he added.
The retailer also appointed Mike Thomson as its new estates director.
Meanwhile, its supply chain director Simon Booth and property director Graham Booth will both leave the operational board this year, but remain on the family board.
