FSA and DWP directors in job swop
Jason Feeney replaced Andrew Rhodes as chief operating officer of the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
Rhodes left to take on Feeney’s previous role as director of the Department of Workplace Pensions.
Rhodes, who joined the FSA in 2010, is also a non-executive director of the Royal Air Force.
FSA chief executive Catherine Brown said: “It has been good timing that Feeney has joined as our exercise programme gets fully underway and [he] was able to participate in the recent executive team workshop on decision making during incidents.”
Meanwhile, Richard Hoskin was also appointed as the temporary head of the FSA’s Food Crime Unit.
