Potts takes Morrisons top spot
One of the bookies' favourites to scoop the top job at Morrisons, David Potts, was officially unveiled at the successor to Dalton Philips this month.
Potts was fancied at 5/1 to take the vacant ceo role by bookmaker Ladbrokes when Philips was fired in January.
Having started his career as a shelf-stacker at Tesco in 1973, Potts rose through the ranks to hold a number of management positions before leaving the retailer in 2011.
He will now be paid a whopping £850,000 a year/ plus incentives to turnaround the fortunes of Morrisons.
Earlier this month, Morrisons had appointed a temporary boss - for more on that appointment click through our gallery.
