Simply Ice cream releases new frozen dessert
Kent-based dessert maker Simply Ice cream has created a new Toffee Apple variant in the run-up to Halloween.
The ice cream is made with Kentish apple pieces, toffee sauce and crunchy honeycomb pieces, which are combined with autumnal spices.
Available for a limited time only, Toffee Apple ice cream comes in 120ml and 500ml tubs and is sold in specialist stores across London, Kent, Essex and Surrey.
Simply Ice Cream founder Sally Newall said: “We actually sell nearly as much ice cream in the autumn and winter as we do in the summer months, and this toffee apple flavour is incredibly moreish.
“It’s interesting enough to enjoy on its own or delicious served with a seasonal pudding like apple tart.”
