Giant crumpet dinosaur
Bakery manufacturer Warburtons unveiled an eight-foot tall dinosaur made from its giant crumpets at the Natural History Museum.
The tasty T-rex was made from 2,500 giant crumpets and took six people 250 hours to create.
The installation marked the publication of children’s book The Christmasaurus, written by McFly band member Tom Fletcher.
Sally Stanton, head of marketing at Warburtons, said: “The Christmasaurus really is such an entertaining read so is a natural fit for our family brand.
“After hearing that Tom Fletcher’s elves loved crumpets just as much as we do, we figured it was a fantastic opportunity to join forces and create the Christmasaurus out of crumpets.”
