Food industry people on the move – update
Real Good Food Company also found itself searching for a new finance boss, after the completion of its sale of Napier Brown and Assured Food Standards appointed a new boss for its Red Tractor scheme.
Earlier this month, we reported news on appointments at Vion Food Group, Boston-based veg producer Freshtime and the Scotch Whisky Association.
We also featured new bosses at the Provision Trade Federation and the Confederation of British Industry.
A considerable amount of the appointments featured in this gallery were women, adding weight behind Nestlé chief executive Fiona Kendrick’s recent claim that there was “no glass ceilings” in the food industry preventing women from succeeding.
Our latest round up of appointments made in July follows a week in which a number of food businesses created jobs.
4,400 new jobs
Müller Dairy created 50 new production jobs across two of its Shropshire sites; Poundworld announced its new Wakefield warehouse would require 4,400 jobs and Silvery Tweed Cereal invested in a new site that would need four new positions.

Jobs currently on offer include positions at: Coca-Cola Enterprises, Müller Wiseman Dairies, Moy Park, Adelie Foods, Glanbia, Nestlé, Greencore, Cargill and Arla Foods.
