2 Sisters Food Group appoints new NEDs
Poultry producer 2 Sisters Food Group appointed two women as non-executive directors in a bid to provide additional expertise to support its growth plans.
Foodservice firm Compass Group’s corporate social responsibility committee chair Susan Murray will join the firm on August 1.
Murray is a former chief executive of vodka distiller The Pierre Smirnoff Company and a non-executive director of Morrisons, Pernod Ricard, Imperial Tobacco, Enterprise Inns and SSL International.
Joining her on the board is Ros Rivaz, currently non-executive director of beverage can maker Rexam.
She has previously held senior executive supply chain roles at Tate & Lyle, Premier Foods and Diageo.
Ranjit Singh, ceo of 2 Sisters Food Group, said: “I am delighted that Murray and Rivaz have decided to join the business. They both bring a wealth of experience and their expertise will be invaluable as we continue to build a better business.”
Both appointments are effective from August 1 2015 and both will join 2 Sisters’ Audit and Remuneration Committees.
