Leatherhead creates new leadership team
Leatherhead Food Research restructured its leadership team in a bid to refocus its investment and become more responsive to the needs of its customers.
Leading the changes was Chris Wells, who has taken on the role of director of scientific and technical services. Before this, he was head of food safety and product integrity at Leatherhead.
Sukh Gill has taken on the position of director of global regulatory services, Cindy Beeren has become director of sensory, consumer and market insight and Shelley McPherson will lead human resources.
Alice Cadman will take on the role of director of business development and marketing.
Meanwhile, James Hiley will join the team as finance director in September once he has left his role as director of finance at the Royal Horticultural Society
Current head of corporate services and crisis management, Professor Tony Hines, will take on the role of director of membership and crisis management.
Leatherhead ceo Dr Geoff Spriegel said the restructure was a “great opportunity to refocus its” investment in the added value products and services that our customers tell us that they need.
