AHDB reappoints board members
Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) board members Gary Taylor MBE and Gwyn Jones have been reappointed as board members for a second term.
Taylor, who also chairs the AHDB horticulture sector Board, has been given a further two years in office. Jones, who also chairs the AHDB dairy sector board, has a further three years.
Peter Kendall, AHDB board chairman, said: “AHDB and the farming industry are both going through a period of enormous change, so Gwyn’s and Gary’s continued valuable input is really important.
“I am delighted that they have both agreed to serve a second term and ensure that we deliver ever greater value for money for levy payers in the coming years.”
Taylor was former chairman of the Pepper Technology Group and former chairman of the Lee Valley Growers Association. Jones was a dairy farmer in West Sussex for over 35 years, running a 200-cow dairy unit.
