Trooper Red and Black
Robinsons brewery released its new Trooper Red N’ Black Porter ale this month.
It is the third ale to be produced in collaboration with heavy metal band Iron Maiden’s frontman Bruce Dickinson.
The ale – named after a song from the band’s latest album, Book of Souls – is the first dark beer in the Trooper range and the strongest to date at 6.8% per bottle or 5.8% alcohol by volume in a cask.
Red N’ Black will is available to buy from the brewer’s website now and will be delivered to consumers starting from September 1.
It plans for the ale to be available in pubs and supermarkets in the future.
