Young’s boss steps down
Young’s Seafood International Holding boss James Hill will leave the business on December 31 2015, following the sale of its Findus brand rights to Nomad Foods.
Hill, who joined the business as ceo in 2013, will retain a non-executive role at the company.
The Holding group’s current chief financial officer Bill Showalter will take over Hill’s responsibilities, while continuing his normal duties.
Young’s praised Hill for growing turnover and profit and making “important transactions”, during his time with the business.
Hill said: “Having driven significant growth, and following the sale of the international Findus business, now is the right time to move on. I’d like to give very best wishes for the remainder of the group, our dedicated and committed employees, and those who will lead the company.”
