McInnes will lead Müller Wiseman after Dairy Crest deal
Andrew McInnes will lead Müller Wiseman Dairies’ milk division following the completion of its acquisition on December 27 of Dairy Crest’s dairies operations.
It will bring Müller Wiseman Dairies and Dairy Crest’s dairies operations together to create a new organisation which aims to be the biggest and best fresh milk and ingredients business in the UK, Müller claimed.
The new organisation will be given a new name following completion of the acquisition, Müller said.
McInnes is currently acting md and chief financial officer at Müller Wiseman Dairies.
He initially joined the Müller Dairy as finance controller in 2007.
Müller ceo Ronald Kers said the new group would benefit its customers, dairy farmers and shareholders.
Müller also appointed its first ever agriculture director as part of the new executive team.
Dairy Crest’s director of agriculture and farm communications will take on the role, which won plaudits from the National Farmers Union.
