Price’s successor at Waitrose named
Rob Collins was unveiled as Mark Price’s successor at the helm of Waitrose as the latter plans to move into television.
Price, who will leave Waitrose after 33 years on April 3 2016, is rumoured to be vying for the chairmanship of Channel 4 – where he is currently deputy chairman.
Collins, who is currently retail director at Waitrose and has worked for the John Lewis Partnership for 22 years, has played a “central role” in the group over the past two decades, its chairman Sir Charlie Mayfield said.
