Asda
Asda offers four fast-track programmes, a direct entry route and a huge range of opportunities and benefits to the 20–30 graduates it takes on each year.
They are retail, trading, logistics and rotational.
Retail graduates can realistically expect to be running their own £1M a week Asda store within three years, The Times claimed.
Trading graduates can achieve their goal of buying manager within four years, by which time they’ll be responsible for multi-million pound budgets and negotiating with some of the biggest global brands.
While logistics graduates could well be taking the ideas they’ve implemented at Asda, across to its owner Walmart and rolling them out across the world, claimed The Times.
Asda’s Rotational Programme, meanwhile, offers an accelerated route into senior business management via placements in a number of different head office functions.
Graduates taking the direct entry route will also join one of these head office functions, which include marketing, property, finance, IT, legal, human resources and e-commerce.
The supermarket chain offers a starting wage of £24,500.
