TV Apprentice
TV apprentice, Nick Holzherr – poised to launch his own business after being fired by Lord Sugar – hit a stumbling block in August when he faced a legal challenge over the name of the company he set up.
In July we reported how James McIntosh – who according to his website is a ‘world award winning cookery writer, home economist and demonstrator’ – challenged Holzherr’s use of the brand name Whisk.
After securing an £170,000 investment, Holzherr set up Whisk, which will be a free app that reads recipes online. It analyses the ingredients required and draws up a shopping list cross-referenced against online supermarkets.
The app transfers the shopping list to the online supermarket on the user’s behalf, where he or she can arrange for delivery.
