Robinsons brews up the ‘A-Team’ of beers
Robinsons Brewery has released its first seasonal beer for 2018, inspired by the character B A Baracus from the popular television series The A-Team.
Available throughout February and March, Beer Baracus is a 4.4% ABV chestnut ale, described as having notes of toffee, biscuit, malt and citrus and the scent of spicy hop.
Gill Yates, brands manager at Robinsons Brewery, said: “We trialled the ‘big screen theme’ in 2016 with ‘Hop Gun’ – inspired by the 1980’s hit film Top Gun.
“It proved to be the perfect wingman selling just under 135,000 pints in two months, so we continued with the same theme for 2017, and now in 2018 with a focus on iconic movie characters.”
Available in Robinsons’ pubs and selected free-trade customers, the beer pump clip features an illustration of Mr T portraying the most famous incarnation of the character.
