Food-to-go range from crisp maker
Essex-based Fairfield Farm has launched a new range of food-to-go snack boxes of its hand-cooked crisps.
The range – Fairfields To Go – comes in a cardboard box with a 40g bag of crisps inside, which allows easier stacking suitable for the travel and retail sector.
As well as its range of crisps, the boxes will also feature tortillas and lentil bites varieties.
Fairfields co-founder Robert Strathern said: “We feel that airlines will see the advantage of them as they can hold 25% more of our boxes in their food trolleys than any other brand. Retailers can stack them up on the shelf and merchandise more boxes than they could bags of crisps.”
Fairfields has already secured a deal to supply airline Finnair and will launch in spring.
