What forced Philips out of Morrisons – in pictures
His five years at the helm of the retailer have been anything but easy and the “keen runner” announced he would finally walk out of the business in March, following falling festive sales.

On his departure, Philips said: “Over the last five years, we have made many improvements to the business and given Morrisons strong foundations for the future. I wish every success to the company and all of my colleagues, who have, and continue to work so hard.”
