FDF boss leaves to get on the property ladder
Melanie Leech revealed she would stand down from her position as director general of the Food and Drink Federation in the New Year.
She will leave to take over as boss of the British Property Federation.
Leech, who held the role for nine years, said she was “incredibly proud” of what she had achieved during her time with the body representing UK food and drink manufacturers.
“With the support of five great presidents and many individuals from member companies, plus a dedicated, expert and hard-working executive team we have made a real difference for food and drink manufacturing and driven the agenda through initiatives such as our five-fold environmental ambition, our 2020 growth vision and our ingredients for success,” she claimed.
Richard Evans, FDF president, said she had made a significant contribution to furthering the industry’s interests during her time at the FDF.
