Robert Kuok
Robert Kuok made his £6.8bn fortune in sugar, palm oil, shipping and property.
His biggest source of income is from his stake in the world’s largest privately listed palm oil company Wilmar International.
The firm is run by his nephew Kuok Khoon Hong and has manufacturing plants in six continents.
Last year, Wilmar International agreed a joint venture with the Archer Daniels Midland Company to be supplied with sustainable palm oil from New Britain Palm Oil.
This deal is part of a bid to meet the target of 100% sustainable palm oil by 2015.
