George and Galen Weston, the owners of Associated British Foods, have seen their wealth increase by £650M over the past year to £7.3bn, while the De Carvalho-Heineken’s fortune has dropped by £635M to £6.3bn.
Family businesses Samworth Brothers, Warburtons and the Perenco Group are all new entries on the list this year – at the expense of 2 Sisters Food Group boss Ranjit Boparan, Grant and Gordon Family and Sir Anwar Perez.
