Moy Park created 70 jobs from £4M investment
Poultry processor Moy Park has confirmed 70 jobs were created from the completed £4M investment at its Ashbourne factory last month (January 27).
The total workforce increased by 6% to 1,150 people since the investment announcement.
Factory general manager Colin Grubb said: “This investment has not only focused on building operational capacity, but has also included investment in staff development, with over 100 staff taking part in skills training.
“This latest investment by Moy Park supports the company’s continued development.”
The Ashbourne investment was part of a national investment plan, which included £4M in its Craigavon, Northern Ireland site last year. The facility received upgraded equipment for processing its ready-to-eat cooked chicken lines.
