Staying with the nation’s largest food manufacturer Premier Foods, its divisional technical director Paul Molyneux has been elected chairman of the Federation of Bakers.
Commenting on his new role, Molyneux said: “It already gives me great delight to see the bread industry forever changing to meet the demands of the consumer, who continue to support our industry at the tills.
"New products come to market regularly to keep the industry alive and relevant. I have long been impressed by the innovation behind new product development to keep the industry exciting and progressive.”
Molyneux succeeded Mark Fairweather, from the Allied Milling and Baking Group.
