Symington’s makes senior hires
Convenience food manufacturer Symington’s has made two senior hires this month.
Kevin Butterworth (pictured) joins the business as director of marketing – effective from October 1 – and will be responsible for designing and implementing the company’s brand strategy.
Butterworth joins from Seabrook’s, where he has spent the past five years in a variety of positons, most recently marketing and international sales director.
Kirsty Cooper joins the business in the newly created role of head of market, strategy and planning from September 1.
She joins from Capri-Sun, where she was sales and marketing director. Cooper has held senior roles at Coca-Cola, Britvic and Red Bull.
Chief commercial officer Matt Lee said: “I’m delighted to welcome such established talent to our business. Both have a proven track-record in the delivery of both category and branded growth.
“With these appointments, we now have a complete team which is quite possibly the strongest I’ve ever worked with.”
