Easter eggs recalled by Lindt
Confectionery manufacturer Lindt & Sprüngli has recalled two of its chocolate Easter eggs, due to presence of barley that was not mentioned on the label.
While the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to barley, they do not pose a risk to consumers with coeliac disease.
The recall included: Lindt Excellence Dark Extra Fine Shell Egg (220g) with a best-before-end date of October 2017 and Lindor Strawberry & Cream Shell Egg (285g) with a best-before-end date of July 2017.
