An employee was unpacking the fruit at the store in Wokingham when they found five 1kg bags of cocaine, with an estimated street value of more than £1M, according to The Mirror.
A spokeswoman for Tesco confirmed it had launched an investigation to FoodManufacture.co.uk, but revealed no further details.
“We reported an issue to the police, and we are helping them with their investigations,” she said.
