Portable logger for results

A new hand-held luminometer device for hygiene monitoring is now available from Biotrace International.

Weighing around 400g, the instrument called Uni-Lite NG, is designed to work with the company's rapid hygiene monitoring tests -- Clean-Trace and Aqua-Trace. These detect adenosine triphosphate (ATP) from product residues and microbial contamination on surfaces and in water samples using a swab, click, read format. The tests are read in the luminometer providing real-time results in seconds.

The luminometer is PC compatible and comes with the company's data trending software.

Software can be upgraded remotely, allowing future features to be added without the need to return the instrument. It also has a calibration checking device.
