Prepared in association with Hughenden Consulting, we surveyed a wide range of food and drink industry professionals to gauge their views on changing food and drink supply chain priorities – from the use of outsourced logistics and warehousing to the biggest supply chain challenges and changing customer needs. The survey is based on the hundreds of replies we received.
Biggest supply chain challenges
For example, more than 70% of respondents agreed that their companies were adapting supply chains for more multichannel/omnichannel sales. Highlighting this, nearly two-thirds of respondents confirmed that their company’s supply chain cost per case/pallet delivered had increased over the past year.
