Chilled food and dairy manufacturing company of the year
Shoreham-by-sea-based pie manufacturer Higgidy was awarded the title of Chilled food & dairy manufacturer of the year.
The firm has doubled its manufacturing capacity over the past 18 months.
Judges said: “Higgidy has shown good growth with a clear strategy, both in its operations and category management. It makes products that you want to buy.”
Higgidy’s co-ceo’s Mark Campbell and James Foottit received the award from Martin Howarth, director of the Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University and Durden-Smith.
