Taywell Ice Creams’ stevia-sweetened ice cream ‘Sweet Rebellion’ earned it the prize of Best new use of food ingredients.
The Kent-based business was praised for its “huge technical achievement to a colossal challenge” by the judges.
Taywell Ice Creams boss Alastair Jessel collected the award from Univar Food Ingredients UK & Ireland area business manager for food ingredients, Paul Harvey, and Durden-Smith.
