After more than 40 years of industry experience, Bernard Matthews group technical director Jeremy Hall knows a thing or two about poultry. In this exclusive video interview, he steps back in time to offer career advice to his younger self.

In recent years, Hall has led the battle against campylobacter, championing a process known as rapid surface chilling. In recognition of those efforts, he was awarded Personality of the Year at the 2015 Food Manufacture Excellence Awards.

We went to visit Hall at the Bernard Matthews headquarters, in Great Witchingham, Norfolk.

Greatest career achievements

In this exclusive podcast, Hall, who claims to have “never done the same job two days running” tells FoodManufacture.co.uk what he considers to be his greatest career achievements.

He also lets us in on his hobbies, and what key piece of advice he would give to his younger self, as well as those just starting out in the industry now.
