The retailer is recalling packs of eight Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls because some may contain pieces of hard plastic and metal, making them unsafe to eat.
The recall applies to all packs of the product with the batch code B26177 and a best-before date of 26 July 2026.
In its customer notice, the supermarket chain said: “We are recalling Waitrose & Partners 8 Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls due to metal and hard plastic contamination.
“We apologise that it has been necessary to recall this product and for the inconvenience caused.”
Affected customers should not consume the product and should instead return it to their nearest Waitrose store for a full refund.
