A frozen food supplement manufacturer is recalling some of its products due to a packaging defect.

Icesupp is recalling Icesupp Mango & Passionfruit and Icesupp Mixed Berries as a precaution because of a packaging defect.

This defect may pose a risk of microbiological contamination. These products are stocked in community pharmacies.

As part of the recall, the Berkshire-based firm has recalled all 86ml/100g packs of its Mango & Passionfruit product with best-before dates of July 2027 and October 2027, as well as all 86ml/100g packs of its Mixed Berries product with best-before dates of May 2027 and October 2027.

In its recall notice, Icesupp said: “Please do not be concerned if you have already consumed Icesupp from the affected batches this is a packaging-relayed quality issue and a precautionary recall.”

The firm has also asked affected shoppers not to consume the listed products, but instead to return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund, with no receipt required.
