Dr Oetker launches ‘world’s first’ edible Xmas jumper

The festive creation took 50 hours to make and used 10kg of icing, 5kg of marzipan, 1kg of chocolate and a “large sprinkle of Christmas” ​magic.

The baker, who created the jumper, has previously baked special cakes for celebrities including: Radio 1 breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw, ITV programmes This Morning​ and Loose Women​ and Prince Harry.

She said it was “brilliant”​ to work with the Dr Oetker team on the #eatmyjumper creation.

Dr Oetker encouraged people to share the Christmas jumper on social media and posted:

“We are very excited to share with you, the world’s first edible Christmas Jumper! This beauty took 50 painstaking hours to complete using a selection of Dr Oetker products including Regal-Ice, Marzipan and Chocolate. Share if you'd dare to wear it to your Christmas party.”​
