Jacob’s creates world’s longest cheeseboard
United Biscuits created the ‘world’s longest cheeseboard’ using its Jacob’s crackers in November to inspire more people to consume cheese and crackers and celebrate its 130th anniversary.
The 40 metre cheeseboard stretched the length of Tower Bridge Walkway in London and featured a range of specially-developed cheese and cracker pairings created by food and drink expert Matt Day.
Paul Courtney, head baker at United Biscuits, said the firm was committed to rekindling passion for cheese and crackers.
“We’re now on a mission to bring joy back into the cheeseboard, to inspire people to try different things as they rediscover this varied and satisfying course, and add a whole new level of excitement to the cheeseboard by showcasing the endless possible pairings of crackers and cheese,” he said.
