Britvic appoints Unilever marketing boss
Unilever’s head of foods for North America Kevin McNair was snapped up by Britvic to take on its vacant GB marketing director role.
The previous holder of the position, Jonathan Gatward, left the role after 10 years to work in Britvic’s strategic marketing and innovation team.
Gatward will support the company’s international expansion plans in his new role as global category and capability director.
McNair had spent 18 years with Unilever in a number of global roles having initially joined the firm as a marketing trainee.
The firm’s GB general manger Paul Graham said: “We are confident he will add significant value to the business, driving brand value. As a member of the senior leadership team he will also be critical in continuing to push forward the transformation that is underway across the business.”
