Glenn kicks biscuits for top football role
Martin Glenn substituted his role as United Biscuits boss in favour of one at the top of the table of the Football Association (FA).
The former grassroots level football coach and supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers will take on the role of FA ceo on May 18.
He famously introduced English football legend Gary Lineker as the face of Walkers crisps in 1992 when working for the crisp business.
UB’s current ceo for its international business, Jeff van der Eems, will take over from Glenn on April 3.
