New president of the Scottish Food Trade Association
Nagel Langdons general manager Malcom Wilde was appointed as the 105th president of the Scottish Food Trade Association (SFTA) at its annual general meeting on March 3.
The former vice president was handed the reins by Barry Cuthbertson of Müller Wiseman Dairies, who will remain on the executive committee as Immediate past president for a further two years.
Wilde said: “I feel privileged to take on the presidency of this historic association and I very much look forward to working with the executive committee in developing further networking opportunities to benefit our existing members as well as attracting new members to the SFTA.”
The association also appointed Danny Cairney of Rowan Glen and Julie Brown of MacLay Murray and Spens to its executive committee.
