Philips is shown the door at Morrisons
Dalton Philips’ controversial five-year reign of troubled retailer Morrisons came to an end at the start of the year.
The decision to sack Philips was made in order to find a new leader that could return the business to growth, deputy chairman and chairman elect Andrew Higginson said.
Philips’ departure was hardly a surprise as analysts and industry experts had long touted his demise.
